Oregano: Oregano is another essential herb in the Italian spice mix, with an earthy and slightly bitter taste.

Rosemary: With a pine and citrus flavor, rosemary is ideal for enhancing mushroom dishes, focaccia, and soups.

Tomato and marinara sauces: Add a tablespoon of the Italian spice blend to your homemade tomato sauces to enhance the flavors and aromas. I put it before the tomato and browned it in olive oil to awaken the flavor.

Pizza and calzones: Sprinkle the spice mixture over the surface of the pizza or on the topping of the calzones to bring an authentic Italian flavor.

Pasta dishes: Use the Italian spice blend in your pasta dishes, either sprinkled over cooked pasta or incorporated into the sauce.
