About this recipe

In this recipe, I gave a twist to the classic Aperol Spritz. This cocktail is a Strawberry Aperol Spritz that will surely be one of your favorite summer cocktails.

The Strawberry Aperol Spritz is a variation of the classic Italian Aperol Spritz cocktail, incorporating fresh strawberries to add a fruity and refreshing touch to the drink. With its vibrant orange color and delicious sweet and sour taste, this cocktail is perfect for enjoying on a summer afternoon or during get-togethers with friends.

Ingredients

  • Aperol

  • Prosecco is an Italian sparkling wine

  • Strawberries, use frozen or fresh. Add simple syrup when blending if the strawberries are not at their peak.
  • Mineral water
  • Orange slice

How to make strawberry Aperol spritz

Start by blending the Aperol with the strawberries and pour it into a large wine glass or a wide glass filled with ice. Add the Prosecco, a mineral water splash. Finish with a slice of orange and garnish with a fresh strawberry.

Tips to make the best recipe

The perfect ratio to make a cocktail with Aperol is 3:2:1. Three parts Prosecco, two parts Aperol, and one part club soda or mineral water.

If you don’t have club soda, use mineral water. It will have less gas, but it still works.

Accompany this drink with salsa and chips, a good summer burger, or a pasta with pesto.

A glass of red-orange bubbly cocktail is being poured from a bottle of Martini Asti. The glass is filled halfway with frothy liquid. A fresh strawberry and slice of orange garnish the base, arranged on a wooden board with a pink cloth in the background against a mottled light backdrop, perfect for an Aperol spritz.

Here’s another method for preparing the cocktail: Begin by muddling the strawberries, then add the remaining ingredients. Be sure to strain the mixture before serving.
