Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- One cinnamon stick
- One clove
- One orange, zest, and juice
How to make cranberry sauce with orange juice and cinnamon
Put all the ingredients in the sauce pot over medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves and the cranberries are cooked. It takes about 15 minutes to be ready; let it simmer, but do not boil
This sauce has very little liquid, so it won’t benefit from boiling. Taste and adjust for seasoning; I like to taste when it cools down a bit and the flavors get a chance to marry.
