- Clean your mushrooms with a kitchen towel or paper towel. If they have more dirt than usual, use a pastry brush to clean them.
- Shred or cut your mushrooms into pieces; they don’t have to be small; they will shrink in the air fryer.
- Place the mushrooms on a baking sheet or bowl and drizzle with olive oil or vegetable oil. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Place your seasoned mushrooms in your air fryer basket or baking sheet.
- Air fry for 5 minutes at a 400ºF air fryer, shake the basket, move around the baking sheet, and cook for five more minutes.
