- Start by pouring the aquafaba into a large bowl.
- Make sure your bowl is spotless and dry before you begin.
- Add the cream of tartar.
- Using an electric mixer, begin beating at low speed, gradually increasing as the liquid becomes frothy.
- This process may take 10 to 15 minutes, so be patient.
- When the mixture forms soft peaks, it is time to add the powdered sugar.
- Do it slowly, spoonful by spoonful, without stopping whisking.
- Once all the sugar is incorporated, add the vanilla extract.
- Continue beating until stiff peaks form.
