Vegan Onion Dip. This dip is creamy, delicious, and ready in less than 15 minutes. It's perfect for serving with potato chips or as a spread for sandwiches.
Heat the olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and finely cut shallots, and sauté them patiently until they reach a golden caramelized color. At that moment, add the soy sauce and keep stirring.
Add the cream. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Continue cooking on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the dip reaches your desired consistency.
Notes
If you don't have shallots, it's okay, you can skip them.
You can also use store-bought vegan cream.
