The easiest summer cocktail I make. Freeze white wine in ice trays, blend with frozen blueberries and a simple homemade lavender syrup. Five minutes of work, gorgeous purple color, and it tastes incredible. Any white wine works.

Ingredients
Wine slushie
1bottle white winePinot Grigio, Chardonnay, or Riesling
2cupsfrozen blueberries
3tablespoonslavender syrup
Lavender syrup
1cupwater
1cupsugar
3sprigs dried lavender
Instructions
Lavender syrup
In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar over low heat. When the sugar is almost dissolved, add the lavender sprigs.
Let it simmer until the sugar is completely dissolved and it has a syrup consistency. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
Wine slushie
Pour the bottle of wine into ice trays and freeze for at least 4 hours until solid.
Add the frozen wine cubes, frozen blueberries, and 3 tablespoons of lavender syrup to a blender. Blend until slushy.
Taste and adjust. Add more syrup if you want it sweeter.
Pour into glasses, garnish with a sprig of dried lavender, and serve immediately.
Notes
Any white wine works. No need to buy anything expensive.
You can swap blueberries for blackberries, cherries, or raspberries.
Make the lavender syrup ahead and keep it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Quick version: skip freezing the wine. Use very cold wine blended with frozen fruit and syrup. Less icy but still delicious.
