Watermelon Agua Fresca (Easy Mexican Watermelon Water)
This easy watermelon agua fresca is a refreshing Mexican drink made by blending ripe watermelon with water, sugar, and an optional squeeze of lime. No syrups, no fuss — just summer in a glass.

Ingredients
4cupscubed ripe watermelonseedless if possible
2cupscold water
2–3 tablespoons sugaradjust to taste
Optional: juice of ½ lime
Instructions
Blend – Add watermelon, water, sugar, and lime juice (if using) to a blender. Blend until smooth.
Taste & adjust – Check sweetness and add more sugar if needed.
Strain (optional) – For a smoother texture, pour through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher.
Serve – Chill in the fridge or serve immediately over ice.
Notes
For extra freshness, garnish with mint leaves or lime slices.Use a very ripe watermelon for maximum natural sweetness; you may be able to skip the sugar.Best served the same day, but can be refrigerated up to 3 days. Stir before serving.
