Ingredients
1cupself-rising flour
1cupmashed sweet potato
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and prepare a baking sheet or pan by lightly oiling it. Mix the mashed sweet potato puree and self-rising flour in a medium bowl. Mix until well combined. The texture is soft and moist.
Be careful not to overmix, as the dough can become hard. If you use a food processor, pulse until everything is well combined, and finish mixing the dough with your hands. Add sage and salt if using.
Make a disk with the dough, cut it into 4-6 pieces, form the rolls, and place them on the prepared baking sheet or pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
